Our friends Dana, Ginger and Andi looked after Leilani while we took a mini-vacation to Waikiki. She must have had a great mini-vacation too! When I walk Leilani down the street she tugs her leash to guide me to their house.

Kathleen met Jim and his dog, a German Shepherd named Josh at the University of California, Berkeley in 1973. Dogs have been a part of their home ever since.
